Looking for a little advice, just starting the daunting prospect of starting another period. The Ardennes has been chosen and the Americans have fallen to me.
It's 15mm, so I know Battle Front do winter uniformed Americans. But I've heard some rather negative reviews of BF infantry. Can anyone point me in the direction of other manufacturers of 15mm winter clan Americans or even lay my fears to rest with regards to the BF range.
I'm UK based, thanks for any advice

I've just painted a load of BattleFront US paras in winter uniforms.

Thanks for posting the picture, those don't look half bad to me. Certainly not the poor quality castings I've been hearing about.
If I can ask you a question? What differentiates the U.S. paras in winter from the US infantry in winter gear? Is it a case of more carbines or are there subtle differences too?

A lot of the Paras don't have overcoats but are just wearing scarfs etc so the uniform difference are obvious, other wise just the boots really.
In my collections of 15mm WW2 I have Battlefront, Forged in Battle, Peter Pig, Plastic Soldier and Skytrex and personal I prefer BF.
