I've had a few terrain maps from Heroic Maps, and they have some with some frozen waste type terrain. I was looking for something for Frostgrave, and what they had was close but not quite what I wanted, so a few weeks ago I emailed them suggesting / requesting a frozen city map that would work for frostgrave. Most Heroic Maps are aimed at RPGs, so have terrain such as trees, walls, etc printed on them. But I wanted something with just the frozen ruined city surface, for placing 3D terrain on. What they came up with was perfect:

They sent me a complimentary copy of the terrain map (pdf and jpeg), and after a bit of searching around, and suggestions on other forums, I found somehwere I could get it printed on a 4 feet square pvc mat. This is what it looks like:

It is from a UK company called Spiral Colour – bannerprintingandroid.co.uk

It cost £27.00 GBP including postage for the 4 feet square pvc mat (a 3 feet square mat would be £15.00 GBP). It was simple to order and it arrived on Wednesday after ordering it at the weekend so it was very prompt service. It looks fantastic – I'm really pleased with it and would definitely order from this company again. I highly recommend this to anyone in the UK.

With some figures on to give a sense of scale:

It arrived just in time for the Frostgrave game we had planned for this week. The mat looks so good I didn't want to cover it with buildings and raised platforms. Here it is in action:

Bad Frosty, bad, bad, Frosty.

Sorry to hear your terrain mat has been ruined by him, but that's what happens when you let snowmen play with your things, without proper supervision.

;-)

Did anyone else think Frosty had melted on his map? …
Really like the terrain map.

That's excellent! It would save me quite a lot of work too, and make setting up scratch games easier for my kids.
Thanks for sharing!

Why'd you post a pic of your car door?
