This month, we have for you the T-72A/T-72M1 and the accompanying T-AV and T-M1V with Kontakt-1 ERA armour in 1:144th (10/12mm) T-72A/T-72M1
linkT-72AV/T-72M1V
linkFor good measure, here's a couple of pictures of last month's releases in WSF material (their product pages are now updated with the new pictures) BMP-1
linkBRK-1K
linkAnd finally, a picture for the Leopard 2A6M, also in WSF (released a while back, but I only got around to getting some in WSF myself now.)
linkNext month's release will be the Boxer Command vehicle module (as both a single element or as a complete vehicle.) I have shelved the IFV version of the Boxer for the present, simply because I have been unable to get any images of it and the rather complex-shaped turret at the moment. I might be able to re-visit the idea somewhere down the line. Further down the pipeline, mostly likely to January, we have the BMP-2 and the BMP-2M "Berezhok." For anyone in the UK, Aotrs Shipyards and Maneouvre Group will both be at Recon 2015 in Pudsey on 5th December, where we will be putting on a couple of games (my own starship rules Acclerate & Attack annd Maneouvre Group respectively.) |

Cool. I have your MTU-72 and 3 BRKs on the painting table right now. |

Those look really great! Thanks for sharing. Any idea what the shipping cost is for one to three items, from Shapeways to the U.S.A.? |
Cold Steel | 13 Nov 2015 2:19 p.m. PST |
Shipping was the standard US postal rates. I don't have the box anymore, but IIRC, it was shipped from a US address. One of the good things about print on demand is the printer doesn't have to be in the same country as the seller. |

@Cold Steel Cool! I'll be passing these over to my oppos at Manouvre Group for painting up shortly, ready for Recon in a couple of weeks. @Mako11 As Cold Steel says, Shapeways does have a US production facility nowadays, so it should be whatever your local rates are. (So it should tell you if you go through the process of setting up an order.) |

Hmmmm, I though these were being printed in the Netherlands, or somewhere else in that region. Good to know they have a local production facility now. Thanks for the info. |

Upon looking, their headquarters is actually now in New York. (When I started, they were still Netherlands based and were just opening up a US branch. I hadn't realised they'd actually moved the HQ there.) Currently, Shapeways have two production facilities one in New York and one in the Netherlands, so at least EU and US customers, there's one relatively local. It has been suggested that I start posting these release with a note to that effect. So would something like: "Aotrs Shipyards is a webstore on Shapeways.com, a 3D print house which had production and shipping facilities located in the USA and the the Netherlands." added to the release posts be useful, do you think? |

Definitely add the release dates. BTW Mako, the BMP hull is a lot more accurate than the Minifigs one. And they are cheaper, too. I already have lots of Minifigs or I would have ordered more. Now if you can just build some BTR-60s at the same price… |

As Alex noted we are using these at Recon so we will have the specs for them by then . If you need the Maneuover Group specs for these vehicles send me a mail and I will send them. |
