So after building up the excitement those past few days… here is the picture report from our BG: FotR demo at Crisis in Antwerp last weekend! link Enjoy, Burkhard |

Beautiful terrain and miniatures, nice pictures and a very funny battle report. I suppose coherent narrative goes up in flames with a whole lot of tanks in a demo game! Thanks for sharing. |

Very nice. The Tiger makes me thinking you are using 1/48 kits for the vehicles (because of the track off the wheels). Are they all 1/48 kits? I have a 1/48 kit under construction (of a Panzer IV). I wonder about the ability of those kits to handle the wear and tear of gaming. Do you have thoughts about that? |

I use 1/48 kits for wargaming and they hold up just fine. They're no more delicate than resin kits imo. Of course, diecasts are still sturdier. Great AAR with gorgeous terrain and minis. The guy wearing a gas mask with fliegerfaust is cool. |

Thank you all guys! @ Bill: I guess the biggest "problem" is the constant chatting with punters, passers by, members of the other clubs and so on. For that reason it somehow does not form a coherent story in ones brain. @idontbelieveit: Yes, all the military vehicles (with the exception of the Borgward Wanze, which somehow did not sneak onto any of the photos) are 1:48th scale. I have been using them for over a decade and never had any problems. To be honest, at times I have had larger problems with the resin tanks I am mixing in when I cannot get something in 1:48th scale. |
