Just finished off the last few pieces for two artillery batteries for my "Flames of Epic" game. I've had the guns done but needed crews, FOOs etc. All figures GHQ 1/285:

That's great work. At first I didn't get the orange beads, and I thought it was a great idea to have them fighting in a pumpkin patch.

I use the beads to identify units.

One red bead = 1st platoon, 2 red beads, 2nd platoon, 3 red beads, third platoon. CO gets an additional white bead. FOOs get a following black bead, and so on.

Or they just overran a squash farm. Either way.
