James, Matt, Mike and I played a scenario loosely based on the actions in and around Fleury-devant-Douaumont using the Square Bashing rules. After initially struggling to remember the clunky mechanisms we eventually got into the swing of things.

Your terrain and figures are a great depiction of WWI. Like photos from the actual war I find looking at your terrain depressing(That is a compliment to your skill BTW). I don't play WWI for this reason. No other war demonstrates the horror of combat the way WWI does for me. |
