I think the captain of the Giza is calling in an airstrike.

Yes awesome describes it very well and a Dervish victory you don't see those often. I was pleased to see a gunboat versus gunboat battle instead of just dhows getting blown out of the water as they attempt to close.

Bravo! Another great game from Last Stand Dan! I'm really looking forward to a new Sudan Campaign. I thoroughly enjoyed the previous campaign ran by LSD and hoped he would launch another. Everything is so well done – the boats, the figures, the terrain, even explosions! – and the fun is infectious.

Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!

I'd like to do the battle of lake Tanganyika in a similar way – one of my many, many pipe dreams.

thanks for reigniting the dream!

It was an awesome game! The table was great and all the ships were Excellent!!! We had a blast. I commanded the far left dhow with the grey trimmed hull. My force actually made it to land and disembarked my unit to assist in defending the forts. The GM did an excellent job melding TSATF with Boilers and Breechloaders switching from land battles and back to the naval engagements, and back seamlessly.

This battle was fought at the Colonial Barracks V con this past November in NO. Here is the con and rules website: sergeants3.com
