Yes, very nice looking minis, and table as well.

Nice looking troops and table, and congratulations on seizing that river crossing!

The VDV song will always have a place in my heart.

Where's the ATGM when you need one.

Lion in the Stars12 Nov 2015 8:39 p.m. PST

och! Got me right in the wallet!

Now, about those Swedish infantry, AA… wink

gunnerphil13 Nov 2015 2:41 a.m. PST

Lion, leave him alone, got to get the Brits done first!

Krieger13 Nov 2015 4:49 a.m. PST

We don't need ATGM's to handle the VDV. A good gunner with a Charlie-G or a couple of swedes wielding pskott m/68 should do it.

I can just see the headline…

Soviet Airborne invasion force repelled by Sven and Magnus

Our two plucky Swedes were enjoying a little picnic in the woods when they heard a noise.

"Sven", I said, "I can hear tracks. He said it cant be ours, so we grabbed the m/68 and sure enough there was this whole Russian VDV battalion coming down the road. Well, we popped off a couple of rounds and they just turned and scarpered.

I tell you, how we laughed, then Sven opened another bag of Swedish Fish"…

When asked to comment on the incident, a Swedish army spokesman said "hurdy gurdy, hurdy gurdy" and hit the reporter with a wooden spoon.

Geoff – it's pretty international. Except in Sweden, where he's known as the Norwegian chef…. ;-) Adam Hills has a great routine on him.

Hahaha, Sven and Magnus driving the enemy into the sea!

Well, hopefully they will be supported by lots of toys soon enough, so they can rely on something other than fermented fish to scare the enemy away!

Armiesarmy17 Nov 2015 11:12 a.m. PST

Ill refrain from hurdy hurdy hurdy gags…

Surely the Swedish deployment of surströmming would encourage a nuclear response?
