Allegedly the company boxes won't be available until January. BMP coy box at around the £30.00 GBP mark

Mako1111 Nov 2015 1:46 p.m. PST

Thanks for the update.

How many BMPs are in a BF "company"?

McWong7311 Nov 2015 2:50 p.m. PST

You get five.

I'm getting the two starter boxes, and definitely the infantry bkisters, but for all other pieces I'm looking at Khurasan, QRF and Zvezda as my source as I can get them now. Especially Khurasan for the BMPs and Zvezda for Shilkas and SPA.

Don't forget Old Glory/Skytrex

Mako1111 Nov 2015 3:00 p.m. PST

Has Khurasan fixed their BMP issue?

I seem to recall there was nothing to glue/support the treads with, so people were having to add some sort of backing to them.

I think I read mention that the design was going to be redone, but don't know if that happened, or not.

I'll have to check the quality and prices between those, QRF's, and Old Glory's BMPs.

McWong7311 Nov 2015 7:29 p.m. PST

I had assumed it was fixed. I've handled both Khurasan and QRF BMPs. Both are excellent, for me it came down to weight as it impacts postage costs downunder.

McWong If you check Caliver Books they sell Battlefront stuff do free postage on orders over £16.00 GBP I think world wide.

That then makes FOW stuff seem reasonable.

Anyone from the EU (other than the UK) provide free, or low-cost shipping on orders, internationally?

They have the best BF pricing, at about 1.07 – 1.08 Euros to the US dollar right now.

McWong7312 Nov 2015 4:36 p.m. PST

@gunnerphil, they would be my choice too for an os supplier, but with the parlous state of Sydney's FLGS scene I will spend with them first. Problem is that Australian isn't high on their "get product into region" list anymore, and I worry that my order won't be fulfilled till post xmas.

gunnerphil13 Nov 2015 6:33 a.m. PST

McWong that is a great attitude. The spending in shop I mean not Australia doesn't get stuff.

Is that just NZ being mean? Or across the board?

McWong7313 Nov 2015 2:51 p.m. PST

Australia and NZ are distributed via the UK I believe.

So created in NZ, made in Malaysia then shipped to the UK for distribution back to Australia and NZ.

Gotta say while I don't mind forking over cash to the one store I know of that carries the Battlefront ranges in Sydney, the price differential with os internet suppliers is a gotcha for my wallet.

gunnerphil14 Nov 2015 6:18 a.m. PST

Well that explains the price!

But has spoilt my picture of the sheep smoggers giggling over getting one over on Oz
