On Saturday a few of us at the South London Warlords were joined by some lovely chaps from the Loughton Strike Force to have a fantastic large Napoleonic battle.

Nice looking battle – as someone who usually commands Austrians I can relate – but the good thing is, the whitecoats can take a lickin' but they keep on tickin'

Nice AAR and pictures! I agree, playing Austrian can be frustrating at times.
We play Shako 2 which does not have a movement roll. I've always hated those rules because I can roll 1's with the best of them. One game I never moved all night long.

a shot of your battle- Nice report.

Were all those GdB commander that took a hit before contact was made attached to any units?
Alot of commander casualties affecting the advance!
