Phil your figures look fantastic. Beautiful paint job. I've painted over 450 of the same Old Glory15 (Nineteenth Century Miniatures) figures, but yours have mine beaten. I'm curious why you've labeled these figures as "1866 Austrians" though. They are sold as "1859 Austrians" because they're wearing the white kittel characteristic of the Second Italian War of Independence fought against the French. The Austrian infantry in the 1866 war wore the grey overcoat in the field, at least that's what I've read. I'm presently about to begin painting an 1866 Austrian army so I can cover both wars. |

Many thanks for your kind words Don…i must admit that I don't know about the kittel, you should be right, we've got kittle and grey overcoat figures, we'll have a look at this! Anyway, your comment is much appreciated, and I'll be pleased to look at your figures… Cheers, Phil. |

Phil, here is a quick look at my figures. The first photo are the 1859 Austrians, and the second are 1866 Austrians. I'll have to do better with the photography next time. [URL=http://s1335.photobucket.com/user/DonCW116/media/20141029_200346_resized_zps422ae1f3.jpg.html]
