Pre-war goodness! In looks, it has it's charms! But in practical design, it's like the designers took the least desirable tank features (slow, light armor, small gun with no HE) and made a tank. There is a reason this beauty had such a short combat history. Worth owning if you plan on gaming the BEF in France. |

It may not have been the Tiger of the 1940 campaign, but considering the enemy it wasn't a complete disaster. I suspect if the Germans had these instead of their Pz2, Pz35 or Pz38 they wouldn't have performed any differently. |

It stacks up well against it's contemporaries from the late 1930's, is actually better armored than the Soviet T 26 and outguns Panzers I II and III There was HE ammo available for the 2pdr although it was not sent to North Africa there are accounts of it being used by the BEF TMP link |

is actually better armored than the Soviet T 26 That right there is horrific. There is almost not enough armor to stop a HMG bullet as is! I do understand that there was a CS version that did fairly well in its roll. |

The HE ammunition was withdrawn from armoured units, not sure about anti-tank units; in Oct. 1939. I always like to think that there was still some kicking about in the Spring of 1940! Definitely a poor decision! |
