Hi all.

I have a relatively simple quistion (I think): does anyone have any pictures of the armoured spearmen from West Wind's Arthurian Romano British?
Also – WW doesn't seem to respond to queries?
Cheers

There are some for sale in the Lead Adventure Forum bazaar- look good. Pics too.

Terrible, boring minis. I painted a lot for a fellow, and the unarmoured guys were a pleasure to paint, and well sculpted, and the armoured ones were a real drag. I'd say pass, and get GB, Footsore or Saxon instead.

Found the same issue with Forged in Battle. Did not respond to email inquiry.

It's rather distasteful.

They are sure to be around here (TMP) when when they want to drum up some business or release a new product but, basic communication with their customers does not appear to be a priority.

If you are not going to respond, take the link off your site.

@BigRedBat
Hey thanks, but apparently I'm a little blind – can you give a direct link? I can't seem to find them.

@OneHuaiTicket
thanks for the reply. I was a bit afraid of that, but I'd like to see them before I write them off completely. As long as I haven't seen them there /might/ always be a (small) chance they're just what I'm looking for.

@PrivateSnafu
I was somewhat surprised by WW lack of reply – in earlier dealings with them they always seemed to be courteous. Perhaps their Arthurian line has become somewhat of a sideshow?

Good rank fillers, mixed with other manufacturers, would fit size wise with Footsore, Blacktree late romans. Especial like the seperate heads. Don't write them off. Cavalry are lovely.

Link to the post on LAF. I have some Westwind; not bad at all.

Some of the West Wind Arthurian are actually quite nice, especially the ordinary (unarmoured) warriors. The armoured ones are as OneHuaiTicket already said quite boring and the casting isn't always very good.
The cavalry and the special sets are excellent but for armoured Romano British infantry I too would like to suggest Saxon, Footsore, Gripping Beast or Black Tree.

Tis true; Footsore Romano British are really splendid.

Yes I have a lot of Musketeer/Footsore minis, which are great – however they're a little static for my tastes.
