Well, better a little late than never…

Follow the link below to my blog, Martin's Models, for the second instalment of my account of my journey into 1/100th scale air wargaming:

Lovely painting. Using an airbrush at all?

Outstanding modelling, Martin, and pretty nifty blogging, too. And superb confidence, to take up WWII airwar gaming in 1/100. I hope you'll let us know what rules you use, surely not Angels 20.

Dave – No, not at all. Whatever gave you that idea? ;)

Zippy – Actually, yes! I know they're not a 'proper' set of wargaming miniatures rules, but I was toying with this as a convention game, so, simple, easy to pick-up system, no charts, and about 5 pages of rules suited my criteria.

Also, if you ignore the absurd, seemingly random, 'special actions' that are assigned to aircraft on the official cards, it's possible to have a quite decent game.

I'm working on some alternative cards myself, here's a couple of previews:

You're a pretty talented graphic designer, too.

Uh, yeah, that.

I have a couple of deep objections to the A20 mechanics, but I'll just wish you an enjoyable game. It will certainly look good!

And what do all the numbers mean?

Hagen – hope this helps to explain:
