Are their printable images anywhere? For once, Kronoskaf aren't any help. |

I couldn't find any anywhere. I have scanned and overpainted the one in Greenwood and Ball, but that doesn't seem to match the ones described by Kronoskaf. The descriptions there are so complicated they are almost impossible to imagine – so I fudged them with a bit over overpainted MS paint design that only have a passing resemblance / or a guessed at design. I fear you might have to do the same. These are the ones I did for the Wurtemburg and Kolowrat dragoons. The blog link is called "More SYW cavalry with dodgy flags" and gives a brief "why" to how they are dodgy. Not much help I'm afraid. link
P.S. I did eventually see the unpainted buttons, now corrected. |

The flags do look nice. I'm a little reluctant to jump into speculation straight away but I guess I'll almost certainly be forced to follow your lead. |

I don't know how accurate these flags are but have a look! link I printed them out and use them for my 6mm Adler Austrian Dragoons. It is easy to "size" them for 28mm or anything else. Also on this website is 7YW Austrian Hussar and Cuirassier flags. Cheers from TEXAS! |

Thanks for that 18CTexan, it looks like my stab at Kolowrat is pretty good considering the only clue I had was (from Kronoskaf) Leib Standard: unknown Regiment: swallow tailed pennant Obverse: red Reverse: unknown but I'm not sure about the one for Wurtemburg (from Kronoskaf) Regimental Standard: red field Obverse: double eagle surmounted by a crown and wearing a red/white/red breast shield edged gold Reverse: a silver hunting rifle resting on a filed stone with a silver scroll bearing the motto "Minis promtior ictrs" in black Reverse (variant): red with a golden castle on a silver mountain, silver hill with red zigzag with a red and silver standard at the top, this hill stands in the middle of the scene. The whole surmounted by a silver scroll with the motto "Paratus ad omnia" in black But right or wrong, in either case, I'd be happy to use them – and will for two more units yet to do. Not sure which though. |
