Here be an account of a game using Nick Wright's "Galleys and Galleons" rules with the British and Dutch taking on the Barbary corsairs of Tunis.

The scenario was a mash-up of Blake's attack at Porto Farina with the Anglo-Dutch joint operation at Cape Spartel. Jack "Birdy" Ward put in an anachronistic appearance, and Hector Barbossa an even more ahistorical one, and good fun was had by all…
