Hello. Today I would like to present my 20 mm / 1/72 company of American WW2 paratroopers. Figures of Esci/Italieri, Italieri AntiTank, Revell, Ceasar Miniatures and CP Models/TQD castings (last ones are metal, but even so they match perfectly, BTW those are probably best figures in 20 mm, wholeheartedly recommended).
Figures painted green – for 1944-1945. As usually I wanted fastest way (speed painting) and went with: 1. Army Painter spray Necrotic Flesh 2. GW Athonian Camoshade wash 3. drybrush Army Painter Necrotic Flesh 4. equipemnt, weapons, skins, boots etc etc… I am satisfied. Marked with great decals of Mustang Game Systems (15 mm, but fit like a glove up to 20 mm , recommended) as the 101st Airborne Division, but what the hell , I'll use them …. More at my blog: link No idea why it was crossposted to aviation board, sorry… |

Nice work! They give off a small shine though so perhaps another coat of matte spray might be in order?

Thank You! Well, I have put 2 coats of matte spray but it coulnt overcome 3 layers of gloss spray. However in reality is quite matte. |

Nice work. I too favor the Mustang decals and think they actually work better in 20mm then 15mm though both possible. |
