Greetings!! I am a fan of miniature / skirmish zombie games, and I have many miniatures of them. Sadly, I have not any "big guy" zombies, like the ones in "zombicide", that can be used as the "final boss" in some scenarios. Right at the moment, the only similar miniatures I have are the "REAPER BONES" – Flesh golem and Clay golem. They are big… but not so big. Does anyone know any model that could serve as "really big zombie"? Some models I am looking too: - a "fattie" would be great (a zombie who explodes when killed) - a "screamer"… I loved the idea of "State of Decay"… some zombies who make a lot of noise… so they atract more and more zombies. - a "savage zombie"… a specially fast and killer zombie. Any help would be appreciated!! Regards, Drawler |

Studio Miniatures do some "character" zombies that sound very much like what you want: link Hugh |

Some of the Zombicide figures could work for the Fattie and the quick zombies. |

Hello! I already knew about the Studio Miniatures zombies. The "left 4 dead" zombies are good, but they are no "big enough". Though they are great miniatures. Theu have normal 30mm base. The only I like is the "fat guy", it has a bigguer base. But the "mutant" zombie at the end is horrible. The zombizide figures are not bad… but they are really expensive to get, and I don't like the plastic material they are using. If i can't find any more ideas… I will have to accept these two options… though they are not my favourite. Thank you very much! |

I play Pathfinder, an RPG whose mechanics require larger creatures to have larger bases for the board mechanics to work as designed (1in base for Medium, 2in for Large, 3in for Huge, etc.) I have found at least in our games that using a blank Large base and placing the appropriate visual representative figure on the base is a good work around for those encounters where, say, a HUGE (3in base) scorpion is encountered, but I only possess a large (2in based) one. Also saves money not having to buy Large or Huge versions of creatures/beings (I already possess) for one-time encounters. Because it is the Big Bad, I can see if you do not want to go this route… Maybe look for 32mm or 40mm zombies? Confrontation might have something in their range, if not, "off-the-shelf," then something that can be converted slightly or painted/repainted to better match your vision. auction TMP link link |

CP Models have a mutant zombie that would work as a tank and a "fatty":
link Hasslefree also has some tank options:
Also a "witch" like in L4D that could be a suitable screamer:
link Also, I'm surprised to hear Zombicide minis described as expensive. You can buy expansions of just zombies which include "fatties" and "runners," plus regular shamblers. You can get a set of 24 zombies for about $18 USD USD before shipping from Miniature Market. link |
