These were inspired when I was watching "Guardians of the Galaxy" recently. Here's a shot of some tables on the set of the Kyln prison:
And here are my offerings (please note that the hot dogs, baked beans, and can of Coca-Cola are for illustration purposes only!). I figure these can be used for modern or futuristic urban or starship terrain. Hexagonal Table: shpws.me/KvDs
Triangular Table: shpws.me/KvDc
Tri-Petal Table (my personal favorite): shpws.me/KvCX
Thanks for looking! jav98 |

Very cool. These would add a nice level of detail to any bars or cafeterias. |

Can you tell me what software you use for designing these little tidbits? I have played with tinkercad, but it isn't very powerful past basic shapes. |

I use the free version Sketchup. It's good for a lot of things like vehicles and mechanical pieces, but struggles with more organic shapes. |

What are you playing that uses all these 3mm scifi models in your shapeways store? |

Excellent bits. These would even be useful for colonies and such. |

Jav, my man, as soon as I saw the first piccie, I was scrolling down to Tri-Petal Table (my personal favorite): as it quickly became mine. The others felt a bit too known; those are very evocative of 'somewhere else.' Kewl. Sean, don't I offer you enough to paint already, you have to cast/print your own? *lol* Doug |
