I have bazillions of Reaper wizards and upscale fighters. I am looking for wizard fodder for them to kill.
Size has been the issue so far.
1. Are Official Frostgrave henchman Reaper sized?
2. Who else makes Reaper sized Tavern trash?

I think Otherworld has some good henchmen figures.

Otherworld and Reaper are on the large size and I've read that Frostgrave minis are on the smaller side.

Maybe this helps a little: (Key here: link)

I can't find the pic that convinced me of that … I think they may all be fine together. Otherworld Skeletons struck me as being very large though I've mostly been interested in their monster rather than human stuff.

Frostgrave soldiers are on the small side, but not wildly so. I would have no issue mixing them on the table together. I fact I will be doing that at Fall In for my 8 player Frostgrave game.

Thanks, flashman.
Anyone have a similar line up with a Reaper fig thrown in?

Here is a picture of a Frostgrave miniature and a GW miniature.

They are not out of scale that you couldn't use them together.

Reaper has several sculptors and it depends greatly what miniature, a lot of their older items are smaller than their latest.

I have a large collection of Undead/Skeletons and I can tell you for a fact that they vary in size, some are a head taller and some blend with GW no problem.

I use a lot of their miniatures for various armies and they are fine, depends on the miniatures.

Here are some Frostgrave soldiers with a Reaper Bones wizard and metal female apprentice that I finished a few weeks back.

The larger Reapers are about a head taller than the Frostgrave plastics – but I am fine with that since I use the Reaper figures for the main characters.

With Reaper I also think it matters metel or bones. I think the Bones figures are bigger than the metal counterparts. I could be way off, but it seems that way to me.

Dehewes, reminds me of opera. The Pinciples have more emphasis than do the chorus. I think it works!

The two reaper figures are obviously on thicker bases, so some adjustments to basing can compensate for height varience. In truth the range of human sizes, body types, heights and shapes is so enormous in real life that in miniatures I don't give it much thought. I can always swap out some equipment to maintain scaling illusions :)

I did a couple of Reaper size comparison photos for Frostgrave. Some of the minis are kitbashes from several companies but this is the main parts.

Frostgrave, Gripping Beast, FRostgrave, GRipping Beast, GW, GW, Reaper.

Reaper's size/scale is all over the place but tend to be big. I tend to like the size of the various historical minis better than current GW and Reaper big guys but don't worry about it a lot. What I'm doing with some of my minis now is basing the smaller ones on GW or REaper plastic bases like in the photos and the taller ones on the thin Frostgrave bases or plastic Bingo chips. Than few millimeters of difference seems to balance things a bit IMO.
