I bought about 75 figures and 9 cannon on Ebay yesterday.
The seller doesn't know the manufacturer so I'm looking for some help because I'd like to buy more from the manufacturer.
The heads were separate and the artillery needs some assembly.
Sorry or the poor quality of the pictures but it's the best I could do.
These are 28mm.
Thanks in advance.
Tom

They a lot like Old Glory to me. Cannon may be by Redoubt.

Old Glory used to have separate heads but no longer do.
Perhaps these are old 'Old Glory' figures?

Disco Joe27 Oct 2015 1:52 p.m. PST

They do look like the Old Glory original edition of figures that they had when they first started.

I don't think the cannon are Redoubt, Redoubt has clunkier wheels.

Yeah those look like "1st Edition" Old Glory to me….you'd have to contact them to see if you can still get them…

They are all original Old Glory. The cannon were fiddly with lots of bits. The infantry had separate heads. I have lots of them.

Thank you guys. I'm going to pick up a bag of the current Old Glory and compare them. If they are like these I'll be buying a bunch.

According to Old Glory, these figures, without separate heads are included in the current mix of figures.

Cheers for this – my wife has quite a few of these among her confederates and she'd like some more of them but we did n't know the manufacturer…Xmas is coming and all that.

These are definitely all the first and original Old Glory figures, including the artillery. I loved the artillery but hated assembling all the little pieces.
The New Old Glory has some of the originals incorporated in the bags, but heads are not separate and some new bodies have been added that arn't quite as good as the original. A lot of the original heads have been put on new bodies, and some new heads have been added to original bodies and all new figures also. There is a lot of variety!
I still have all my original figures and I still like them better than anything that's been released since!

I also have lots of these. The old range had separate heads and were great. There was also an incomplete Mexican War range of US Inf with separate heads. I have these as well and use the extra heads for conversions.
The designer, Dave Allsop, died in a tragic car accident.
