Am I reading that right?

4 6mm tanks for £22.62 GBP

That is way out of my price bracket

That's what the digitally printed stuff costs. Hopefully it will get cast up in metal to make it affordable. The more detail something has the pricier it gets.

So is SCP going 3d-printing only, or this a prelude to metal production starting back up?

If they release the Support Weapons ( AT guns, Howitzers and APSW towed units ) in this form, I'm buying – no matter the cost! Those were nice and pretty useful.

Metal models of their existing stock was sold to a company in the UK. Who will put those previous models for sale online. All the models on Shapeways will be new models they have not released previously. Cost may go down. So stand by … for release of more models – the new on Shapeways … the original EW range online sometime in the near future.

At 6mm scale, the "Strong and Flexible" stuff looks pretty bad, in my opinion. The graininess is terribly noticeable. You've got to get the Ultra detail if you really want them to look good.

Ah, that's good to know. Just selling off remaining stock or new castings as well?

Yes, the best resin is to go with the Frosted Ultra Detail (FUD) if the options is available. But I think EW is going with that for most on Shapeways.

AFAIK, just the remaining stock in metal is being sold by the new company at this time. Once they open up their online store which again is in the near future …

Another issue- Shapeways does some price accounting by part count- i.e., each separate part accrues a $1.50 USD labor charge. Spruing parts together is the way to fix this. If these tanks were sprued, the cost would be cut in half.
