My son and I have been having fun with figures from the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Miniatures game. We play it on an epic level so assign statistics to entire squads instead of individual figures except for a few heroes including Darth Vader. I have two Vader figures. One is bent over and way too short. The other is the perfect height, towering over everyone but he is holding his cape in the front like he is about to do a magic trick or fight a bull. Does anyone know which Vader figures are tall like the magician pose one, but more menacing? Thank you in advance. |

link I have the 4th, 7th, and 12th down (and probably one more, but some are unsorted), all are pretty much the same height. I assume the hunched over one you speak of is the 3rd/4th. It's a simple pose but I like the 7th, from the first set. |

Is the 'magician' one this one?
What about the Universe set #37 Darth Vader Jedi Hunter?
Or the Rebel Storm set #22 Darth Vader Sith Lord?

Darth Vader,Legacy of the Force is the tallest Vader figure that they made and I should know because I had every single set complete and every Vader figure as well. I called this one the Basketball Vader I don't know why they made this figure almost double the height of the other figures but they did. |

Thank you everyone, yes that is the magician pose, I like the size just not the pose so much. I imagine it is to emphasize the laser proof nature of his cape but did we ever see any pose even close to that in the movies? It also looks like he could get tangled up in the cape. |

but did we ever see any pose even close to that in the movies? IMO we can say the same thing about the Fantasy Flight Games figures--they look like they're popping out of a modern comic book instead of the movies. |

No Vader is intimidating if he has a floppy lightsaber. |
