"If you're gonna have your troops do what you need them to do, then you need to have good commanders in charge of them. So it is with that in mind that Warlord Games has released some new Janissary Command models. Though even with good command, it's a battle, so people are bound to get hurt. So Warlord also made a set of Casualties."

Hmpf. I somehow think they did not bother to try hard. I waited half a year for their Janissaries, and now find myself unable to get any of them, as the look like Mario Bro on a timejump. What, eg, is that banner bearer doing with his left hand? I am, sadly, disappointed by this release. This should have been so much better :-/

I just wondered why most of them have a hanky wrapped around a fez instead of the börks worn by the ordinary janissaries in the same range. I prefer a ladle as a standard for janissaries.
