There was a recent thread….somewhere*…on TMP about the
Chore involved in painting model horses.
I thought about it & I think horses are the things I paint best. Please note: I'm certainly not claiming any great expertise but I do a nice line in dappled, my horse tack is painstakingly rendered & the various washes I use generally work.

Artillery pieces, terrain, blocks of infantrymen or singly-based figures: what do you paint best?

* I'm not allowed too say where

Flags and shields: not that it's easy, but they look great when done, pays off the effort.

Oh this is easy – it's my fingertips while holding figures by their base.

I am always amazed how well 2mm figure blocks come out with a wash and a drybrush too.

Horses and white uniforms. I use wet-into-wet for horses and find them very relaxing to paint. White uniforms are just about the only thing I paint without needing to mix colours

As show and tell at my dentist last week took a Russian 15mms dragoon. He has horses so that's why I took it. He liked my colours and thought I did a good job.

Calpe Napoleonics! They always look like they are painted by a much better painter then me, when compearing them to other figures I paint.
