As most folks know from the postings by Terry Webb, the 2015 edition of the Good, the Bad and the Ugly HOTT International Tournament is upon us. I have the honor of running the Midwest USA Leg, this year in Dexter Michigan, next to Ann Arbor. Registrants are coming from as far away as Cleveland. Last year we were part of the Pro or Con Convention.

This year the Pro or Con Game Day has been CANCELLED so cannot be the venue for the 2015 International GBnU Tournament. I have found another site for the tournament to be held.
Saturday NOVEMBER 14, 2015 at 1pm
(between Fall-In and U-Con)
The site will be at a private home in Dexter Michigan, about 10 minutes from the Zeeb Road Exit on I-94. I will send directions to all who sign up. There will be no fee. We can accommodate 18 players.
The Midwest Leg will be 25mm but players with 15mm armies are welcome to bring them and we will provide appropriate temporary bases. The Hordes of the Thing 2.1 rules will be used. These are essentially the same as HOTT 2 except that Shooters move 200p and Warband move 300p. Movement will be in Base Widths. Players without armies are welcome to come and use an army provided by me. Standard 24AP armies.
The theme for the GBnU Tournament 2015 is MYTHOLOGY. As in all GBnU Tournaments, you need not field a theme army but you must declare for Good or Bad. That is to say, each army will be classed as one of "Good" or one of "Bad" as the owner prefers.
Mythology can be Greek, Roman, Viking, African, Chinese, Japanese, Hindu, American Indian, Hebrew or whatever. I once read an article on the Myth of Baseball To me, this also includes Legends such as US frontier or pirates, Trojan War, or Song of Roland, for example.
If you plan to attend contact me, also to reserve an army – beattie@umich.edu
We will be having a Juniors Division for players under 21. We still need one Adult and one Junior player to round out the fields of 10 and 8. (any father and son teams out there?)
There will be local prizes and participants will be eligible for international prizes too.
