I am expanding a 15mm Ancient Greek army, mainly OG15 and Essex. I'm looking for open handed figures so I can add spears without having to drill out the old ones, as I need quite a few. I've seen Forged in Battle, but not sure how they'd match size wise. Not to bothered if early or later hoplites. Any suggestions?( other than get a different army……) Cheers Jon |

LKM has the old Frei-Korps Hellenistic ranges, these were open handed and fit quite well with Minifigs/OG and Essex. |

Xyston are open-handed, and nice minis to boot. I seem to remember them scaling well with OG, but I don't have any mixed. |

AB are open handed but they may not fit well with your current figures. |

Xyston would be a good match. As mentioned they are open handed if you want to add spears & shields. If you are interested I'll be selling off about 100 packs of them at a good price shortly. -Skip LIT |

thanks chaps, I considered Xyston, but I have some SPanish and I thought they looked bigger. I may revisit the idea. AB are also nice but I think they are too tall, and mor anatomically correct. cheers Jon |
