The bugs are getting closer, but their latest ranging shot is expected to just miss us by a little, on Halloween night.

The asteroid is expected to miss us by about 1.3 x the distance of the Earth from the Moon, so about 300,000 miles.

This projectile is a rather large one, at 300 – 600m wide, and traveling at 78,000 MPH.

I certainly hope someone is working on our planetary defense systems, since this one was previously undetected.

Makes me wonder what other things the bugs have in store for us on Halloween night?

It's far past time that we send the fleet to teach the bugs a thing or two. Time to take out the Big K!

Can't we all just get along!

"Can't we all just get along!".

It appears not, especially when the bugs are hurling planet-killing rocks at us.

However, feel free to try to make peace with them. Somehow, I suspect you'll end up being an appetizer at the meeting ceremony dinner.

I told him what to do with the Bugs.

It's cause we got all these guns on this planet.

If we just got rid of the guns…

I'm afraid you people are entomophobic.

They're the ones throwing rocks! grin

Mobius, the only good bug is a dead bug; yum, yum…

I blame the Mormon extremists. Obviously they have once again tried to settle in the AQZ and provoked a response from the Bugs.

Guns don't kill people, skyscraper-sized rocks from space kill people.
