I've been using Magic Sculp for years now and quite happy with it too, but my supply is at last nearly gone.
Looking to buy a new supply but somehow there seem to be two different Magic Sculps now?
The one I was using came in a plastic box with lid (250grams 8.8 oz) with the two components in separate plastic bags. Made by Sylmasta:
It looked/looks like this.

But now there seems to be another Magic Sculp in four different colours that come in two separate tubs.

Obviously made by another company ( Wesco?)

Anyone have an idea if this is the same product? Both are still available but the bigger tubs are more economical but I wouldn't want an inferior or for that matter different product.
Thanks very much for any help!

I think those are 2 different products, one is 'magic sculp' and the second 'magic sculpt' with a T on the end. not tried the second but safe bet is stick with what you know.

I didn't even notice the 't'!!
Thanks very much Black Scorpion. I'll order the regular Magic Sculp immediately.

I use the second type a lot. The mix is 50/50 by volume. It smooths with water, can be worked even under water. The feel is like pottery clay at first and you can roll and flatten nicely. Then as it cures the clay turns firmer. It ends up curing as hard as concrete. It is very easy to add more magic sculpt to cured magic sculpt.

I really like the way it can be filed and smoothed more after it cures.

I don't know about the first one that you listed. I have been using the Magic Sculpt product for around 7 years.

So it looks as if I will have to try out that other one as well!
From your description it is nearly identical to the 'other' Magic Sculp.
Going to try out one of the coloured ones just to feel for it.
Thanks for the info 45th Div!

My pleasure. It is a good product even if you want to add other clays to the cured magic sculpt. I use it to rough out poses and then I use procreate for detail, but you can detail with Magic sculpt as well. Doing cloth is really nice with the product.
