After the Battle of Fuentes de Ebro, an observer from the International Brigades said: "Courage and heroism are plentiful in Spain and the Spanish people have no lack of it. What they need is tactics. And as for tactics, on 13 October, Regiment BT was bankrupt."
The Spanish troops were ordered to ride tanks in an attempt to quickly overwhelm Franco's green "rear sector" troops that held the town. Historically, they got bogged down due to soft ground, poor cover, and above all, bad tactics. I was hoping to do a bit better… Here's the battle report and special scenario rules. link

very nice Primalucem …very realistic also the terrain just some info ..as i suppose they are 20mm minis…also my favourite for SCW…from which manufature are those very iconic infantrymen ( i suppose Republicans) in Trubio steel helmet and Capote Manta? |

Thanks Italwars. Yes, 20mm. Most of them are Minairons, but the ones in the Capote Manta are from Irregular Miniatures. I bought a bunch of their stuff a while back, and those are definitely my favorite from their line. |
