Well Rob just finished playing his first game of "Pulp Alley". We just played a basic scenario to give him an idea of how the game is played:

A nice report, Jeff. I love the moving patrol idea for perilous areas--might have to steal that. Some words on how the games went and what your friend thought of it would be a great addition. Thank you for sharing!

Hey…what happened to the "dark creature"? Is it still lurking, or did it get bored and take a nap?

The Shadow may know what evil lurks in the hearts of men . . . but not in the mind of a simple cat.

"Shasha" is a very gentle little girl, she never gets on the table top but has been known to frequently distract us as we petted her while she rubbed up against our ankles.

Great AAR.

I spacially liked the patrol "moving perilous areas" idea.

thanks for sharing.

magokiron,

You are most welcome to the concept; but I am sure that I am not the first to think of it.

I have also had Pulp Alley games where I used something similar to move people-type plot points around . . . with occasional hilarious results.
