I've been pointed to this Kickstarter – link They're doing 3 x 3 mats and there are several that lend themselves to Frostgrave – namely mats 15, 18, 22 & 38. With 38 being my favourite. Price is £19.00 GBP with free shipping in the UK. If I could work how to link to Kickstarter images I would. |

Wow! Some of those are really beautiful! I don't happen to do any games that specifically require a 36 X 36 playing area, but I will have to think about these.

Some of them look nice – the floor tiles, for example – but some of the others – Battleground and foggy sea for just two examples – are way too "step and repeat" for my tastes. They look to 'repetitious', if that' an appropriate word to use in context. John T |

@EricThe Shed – The mats are polyester felt with 'sublimated' artwork. There's a definition of sublimated on the Kickstarter, but it's something to do with colours being dyed into the fabric. Looks like the pledge levels are iterations of £19.00 GBP per mat. @John Treadaway – Reading the comments on the Kickstarter, one of the comments made is that the dungeon mats looks like the same gif, jpg, bmp etc repeated. I think the space mats look particularly good, but I find mats 16, 19 & 21 bizarre. |
