Rather then look through the scores of sprues etc, I thought I'd chance it here.

Looking for some leaf bladed long swords. I know WGF has some short swords with a leaf blade in some of their kits, am looking for a longer version for 28mm miniatures.

You are right gentlemen. I believe it was leaf bladed spears.

Beja sword blades were made by Solingen of Germany and imported sans hilt. This was during the time of the Anglo-Sudanese Wars and one wonders when they started importing them. I did read an article on the Beja circa 1970s that said having a sword was still a sign of manhood.
