I have a line on a set of rules. Looks interesting. Are there any real characteristics for the types of troops involved, like Foreign Legion and the Brigades perform better than militia? Or Anarchist hate the Communist and won't fight together? |

There are some very specific rules to cover the Internacionales, La Legion, and various militias. You can download the Chain of Command Espana supplement and lists for free at link You will still need the basic rules to play but the supplement will give you some idea of the period specific rules. There are some short videos on YouTube that will give you a good overview of the rules themselves. |

Are there any real characteristics for the types of troops involved, like Foreign Legion and the Brigades perform better than militia? Or Anarchist hate the Communist and won't fight together? BuenHombre: The Spanish Civil War rules for Chain of Command ĦEspana! are free here: toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/?p=2970 All the organizational AND characteristics for each type of troops are available here: toofatlardies.co.uk/blog/?cat=23 So, YES, there are real characteristics for each of the groups, making each very different in quality, in organization, morale, command and combat capabilities. And different militias, political groups do have difficulties fighting together. |
