Five European speculators have descended on the small town of Outer Fociz. One of them is after something valuable, but which one?

I played a four player game of Pulp Alley over the school holidays with the boys and a boardgaming friend. We played the Soerbaja Manhunt scenario from Perilous Island.

You can read the whole story over on the blog: butterfly collectors, falling black marketeers and the pink bloomers of doom!

Can I ask the source of that desert mat? Did you buy it or make it?

Glad you like it gents!

Benglish, it's homemade. Painters drop canvas, paint with a thick coat of brown paint. Sprinkle with sand while the paint's still wet. Another coat of brown to stick the sand down. Then dry brushed with successively lighter shades of a desert yellow. All paints were sample pots of house paint.

It works really well – durable and flexible.
