The old AH title: Gunslinger is considered the granddaddy of Old West boardgames. Cowboys: The Way of the Gun, by Worthington Publications is a similar game, with a western town and a shoot out. |

Outlaws: Adventures in the Old West used to be print-and-play, but I don't know if it still is. It is deep enough that it doesn't feel generic, but moves fast enough that it does not seem like ASL in the Old West. Cowboys: The Way of the Gun is a little more generic, but moves along quickly. It seems especially good for playing with kids. The playing pieces are actually cardstock illustrations of cowboys that you fold over and clip onto a stand, thus giving it a bit of a miniatures feel. Gunslinger is ASL in the Old West. If you're into that level of detail, snag a copy. |

Cowboys: The Way of the Gun, is a great game. I actually play it in 3d with minis and scratch built buildings. |
