So here are my two Viking camps. I'm still working on a pile of crates, barrels and bags as loot/trade goods. The double base will let me use them in my Clash of Empires games (or just give me two camps for hot Viking on Viking action).

NICE!

Nice! I'm working on my Dux Brit terrain at the moment, and those wicker fences look great – where did you get them?

I've used Donnington for carts and baggage and such – great collection of figures.

Cheers,

Christopher

The wattle fencin is from Baueda which I sell here in the US…

Aha! I had been looking all through their fortification range, and missed the wattle fences in the "urban" range. Those are perfect. They also make a nice thatched hut which I missed, and it looks like they have other Dark Age stuff in the pipeline.

Well done!

Can just see the grounded longship as a centre piece of a game? Saxons tasked with burning the ship versus the ship guards plus reinforcements?

That all looks great! And thanks for the info on where to find the terrain. I tried my hand at making wattle fences out of toothpicks and floral wire, but did not get them near as nice as yours!

I was looking at the Baueda website and really like their modular forts. Does anyone know if they would work at all with 28mm figures?

"whose fleece was white as snow" Might I suggest a light tan wash on those sheep? Never, ever seen such white sheep – and I've seen thousands and thousands of them in my part of the world. Even at shows after prepping for judging they're not that white. Otherwise, nice terrain.

Love it, the long ships are just the thing.
