Working on a small beached boat as a camp for my Viking army.

Here is the painted boat on a 60x100mm base. Tonight I will paint and wash the base. I'm going to make it very light like a sandy beach, with maybe just a few tufts for looks. I'm also working on crates and barrels and such as cargo/loot/tradegoods.

Sadly the Baueda wattle I wanted to use as an alternate is too long to work on my 80x80 bases so I'm going to have to scratch build the fencing. My plan is to use toothpicks as the posts then weave the fence with bristles from an old broom. Once done I'll give it a big coat of PVA, then prime and paint.

You can't just cut the fencing?

The venerable old Essex viking boat. I assume 15 mm, then, yes?
