A game of Chain of Command for the Spanish Civil War, using my shiny new terrain and Minairons figures. Enjoy! link |

Thanks for the excellent report. That terrain mat you described previously really does look effective underneath the beautiful buildings and the other landscape elements and figures. Nothing like some inspiring eye-candy to complement a great gaming experience. |

Thanks! I'll be posting about the construction of those vineyards, hedges and buildings later in the week. |

Great report indeed. I can see some Irregular figures too, besides of those of Minairons' own. Both ranges seem to match quite well at a first sight, do they? Cheers, Lluís |

Good eyes Lluis! Yeah, I picked up some Irregulars from Silver Eagle Games, and they scale with Minairons perfectly. Sadly while the scale matches, those Irregular minis are over 20 years old I'm told, and the difference in quality shows if you look too closely. I'm very impressed with your Minairons line, Lluis (I was actually going to post a review soon) – the figures have zero flash and very few and faint mold lines if they have them at all. Irregulars are… irregular. And they require a lot more work to get on the table and end up less impressive. And you guys have far better poses and sculpting in general. I'm really just using the Irregulars to fill out numbers here and there, and for stuff not yet available through Minairons (Civil Guard, male militias, etc). Of course, for such an old line it's not bad, and certainly there's plenty of stuff available. Any word on when your Militiamen will be available Lluis? |

@Primalucem, Over the years, I've also got a lead mountain of Irregular and Bandera SCW figures, employed in a time to build entire units and now used to fill gaps in my Minairons units' ranks I'm glad to have in my pockets that many figures of both brands alongside to those of my own, for I love to essay picking figures from here and there to build my units – and I'm most happy to know they mix so well. This was one of my intended goals. As for Minairons Militiamen, they're being sculpted right now, accordingly to the drawings the sculptor and I agreed (see sketches). Box art is also being drawn right now, just as a flags paper sheet by Flags of War too. If everything keeps running as smoothly as so far, it's reasonable to expect them by next month Lluís |

Excellent news! I love the sketches, and can't wait to get my paws on those. I'll probably be going Irregular for my security forces, and Bandera isn't currently available in the US (although that should change soon). Keep up the excellent work Lluis! If you have a place open to the public, I'd love to stop by when I'm visiting Barcelona next year. |

Not in Barcelona town itself, but a small village in the vineyards shire known as Penedès, some 30 miles SW from Barcelona. You're always welcome, if at some time you decide to spend a vist to Catalonian countryside |
