I usually paint my armor by spray bombing them and doing a 1 (British) or 2. (American) stage drybrush. I'm going to be doing some Russians soon and will probably be spraying then in plastic soldier company Russian armor.does anyone have a good dry brush color suggestion? |

Vallejo Russian Green (894 iirc) lightened with a good dollop of ochre (I use GW bubonic brown). A very, very light overall drybrush of Vallejo Iraqi Sand, but I do that on everything. |

I just did armour with Russian Vallejo green 924. Highlight was 3 drops of above with 1 drop of white. I like the Iraqi Sand idea, thanks Martin! |

Both AK Interactive and Ammo from Mig do an excellent set of russian armour colours. AK link Ammo from Mig link Within both these sets are highlighting colours, they match both PSC and FOW russian green sprays, and you can buy the individual bottles outside of the box sets. |

Here are some of my T34s with the sand drybrush. You need to keep it really light.
It looks better on this Sherman.
