I've just kicked off my SAGA Welsh army project, and I've been covering it on my blog.

The first post details building painting and basic my first two units from GBP Dark Ages Warriors and Saxon Thegns, with some parts from Victrix VXA006 Greek Slingers, Javelin Men and Peltasts.

My second post is a showcase for my first unit of Bonnedig (levy) slingers.

My third post covers terrain for my SAGA games, in this case a stone circle and a Neolithic cairn.

Very nice! I have a pile of plastics but have been a bit intimidated by them. I should probably just take a stab at them. I doubt they are all that difficult.

The plastics are pretty easy to build. Thanks Raynman :)

Post number nine is more terrain, a wooden stockade and some fallen trees.

Post number ten is a review and guide to the finished 4pt starter army.

Posts Eleven and Twelve are battle reports on the first two outings for my forces.
