Thought I would share the initial terrain setup for my city assault along the banks of the Danube River in 1790.

Austro-Russian army assaulting the Ottomans held up in the city. And I do mean city.

Your Danube is very blue indeed!

I see you pre-lit some of the buildings to encourage the attackers. grin

Very nice, Mr. Burgess. Be sure to post pictures of the assault at various stages.

You didn't mention the scale. 15mm?

Hi YA,

Yes, 15mm figures and Piquet rule system.

So far I have six players signed up.

I should have plenty of photos of the game to share, plus the two previous battles when I get time to post them.

Beautiful table. How many figures with that many players?

Impressive city, Eric! Now that certainly would be street fighting if it gets to that.

I am flabbergasted – indeed my flabber has never been so ghasted before!

Please take photographs of the game as it takes place and then post the lot.

Regards

Mike, this is all designed to be a street fight. The Austro-Russians are assaulting the city and it should degenerate into a street by street slugfest.

Battle photos will be taken, and I will update my blog eventually.
