Some things should be straightforward. A simple trade: crates of cash for a rare archaeological treasure. But things rarely go to plan. Best bring some back up to help things go smoothly, or something…

We played this game the other week at the club: four players including one first-timer. This is a scenario I'd run a number of years ago as a Saga game. One of the players had played it way back then – he had a good chuckle when he realised what was going on.

Dr Veruckthaar began with the archaeological treasure. In theory, he was planning to sell it to Jack Sampson, who you can see hauling crates of cash. Each league was 'supported' by a second league. Veruckthaar by the cultists, Jack by he tramp steamer crew. Each league had their own secret objectives.

@ blacksoilbill
Great AAR. Love the terrain and the minis. Enjoyable action.

Where did you get the building from? They look exactly what I am after.

blacksoilbill29 Sep 2015 7:22 p.m. PST

Hi Insomniac, I built them myself. They're made from cork tile, covered with thinned down, stippled on wood-filler.

Damn. They look good. I was hoping that it was something that you had bought.
