We've had many fun tabletop games with our friends. This is one of the best from standpoints of:

Colorful native and regular units
Fun chance cards
Wide-sweeping maneuver
Unexpected results
Panache
Camaraderie
Scene reminiscent from the movie Barry Lyndon

You will see all the above and a ton more explained by quick to read briefly captioned photos here:

THE BATTLE OF BASMATIPUR, INDIA
It was amazing and is one of the great examples why we should get out of our homes to game more with friends on tabletops everywhere.

Respectfully,
Bill P

PS Getting out with friends is good for your health and is of course FUN!

"The main thing w/ India is to have fun!"

- a few zillion Indians may disagree…
As an essentially imaginary setting however it works well.
Many thanks for sharing, Bill!

I've always wanted to try panache, is that on the shelf near the pistachios?

Love the figures and the "what if" scenario. I'd like to know if anyone has ever considered or done an ACW scenario based on British and or French troops fighting alongside the Confederates in a "what if" situation.
