That brown on that reproduction uniform of the 6th Cacadores is a lot lighter than any think I have seen before for the Cacadores. |

Is it possible that it's an original , and very faded ? Perhaps if we have a Portugese member they can find out ? |

I will be happy to be proven wrong, I have never see an ordinary soldiers kit kept in that good a nick and it being that old, officers yes. If it had faded would not the yellow cuffs be a washed out colour ? A Portuguese member my be able to clear this up ? |

It does seem odd that the yellow facings are still such a rich tone, if the brown is as faded at it appears to be (at least based on previous depictions of cacadore uniforms I've seen). |
