Yet more temptation! Warlord really know how to hit me in the pocket.

They are the masters at it! This set is easily their best I think. I love the head with the ciggy, that alone is worth price of admission for me

Those look really great. My only complaint, as a Early War fan, is that there are not enough pistol holsters on the sprues. The guys that were actually airdropped/landed all had pistols. I laboriously sculpted holsters onto a bunch of the Black Tree and Crusader figures to make my reinforced platoon.

They are lovely models. What I like is that alot of them don't have all the y straps and gas mask straps, so it's that bit easier to get them looking dropped in or even in light fighting order

I love the newer plastics from Warlords, but sadly these last two sets are missing what I really loved about the early war sets, being the prone miniatures. I loved the prone MG34 option in the early war set.

I find the prone models whilst cool, soon run out of utility, and for me at least I ended up with them just getting wasted.I may well convert some of these to prone in the future though…
