My first attempt at painting Woodland Indians. I haven't quite got to grips with painting figures that aren't in uniforms! link The figures are from the Galloping Major and I am very pleased with the standard of sculpting and the detail. I just need to learn how to paint them! |

I did some Conquest Indian figures for "War of 1812" – I understand your pain! ;-) It's a bit like painting Celts, too! |

If you don't mind a weapons painting tip – the musket bands would be steel, not brass/bronze. :-) |

Thanks historygamer. I think I'll retouch – it's one of those things that you pick up from looking at other models and thinking that's nice without checking whether it's correct! |
