I have a great article for your reading pleasure today, my successful experiment at making modular cobblestone road section. As the title suggests, the method and tools were a bit unorthodox!

Thank you for your post. Excellent write up. To avoid the need to bake the clay you could use Magic Sculpt. It is a 2 part 1 to 1 ratio to mix. You can smooth it thin with water and when you are done, it will cure rock hard.

Nice idea but I wonder how heavy are all the pieces? I can't imagine anything with baked clay is going to be lightweight even if its only a thin layer.

Interesting, the roller could be used to to roll out paint patterns over fabric, hmmmmm.
