Something that I have not painted in a long while and to be perfectly honest failed to recall just how much work is involved on getting them to look right. Having said that it was interesting and enjoyable painting and basing these figures and here are the first few pics of the Chaplain and scouts. There are more to follow including Blood Claws, Wolf Guard, Wolf Guard Terminators, Long Fangs, Grey Hunters, Ragnar Blackmane and a Dreadnought.

My favorite GW Chaplain figure.

I think I've painted up six of them over the years for myself or others.

I agree it is a lovely figure, and I have painted several too over the years. This one was resin and the detail seemed a lot sharper than the metal ones I had previously painted.
