I have been mailing orders worldwide from the UK but have had a number of packages to Spain go missing or be delayed. Has anyone else experienced problems mailing things to Spain? Seriously considering only mailing to Spain by recorded delivery |

I have sent a couple of packages to Spain. Both took six weeks to arrive, supposedly held up in customs. |

Italy and Spain are problematic. Not sure you can insure shipments from the US to either one, due to all the stuff that goes missing. |

I had some shipments *from* Spain – first came through fine, took 6 weeks, next two lost and neber arrived, third try made it through. They were insured on the Spanish end and the vendor was very good at re-sending it three times, and the order was eventually completed. Given that, postage costs from Spain are surprisingly high (like almost every other place for international mail now). So I'd order but not if it's something you need in a hurry. |

I had a number of problems with Italy. Including fraudulent orders. So much so that I stopped taking orders from Italy. |

I live in Spain and order from UK on a regular basis. In 8 years I have only had one parcel not delivered and it was sent back to the sender. It takes about a week from UK to my door, a bit longer in August. Maybe I am lucky in this part of Spain. |

I had heard about the slow delivery times in Spain, but most arrive in about a week. The loss of two orders previously, I had hoped was just a case of bad luck, but I'm having to send out yet another package to replace an order which has not arrived in 6 weeks. Annoying . . . |

I've mailed registered packages to customers in Spain. No chain of signatures after the package lands. No record of delivery. No recourse. My take; combination of incompetence and thievery. |

Sounds like my neck of the woods too, hanging would be obligatory if I was in charge, can't stand it when I lose my little toys to post thievery/incompetence, I have hissy fits of note :( reliable, affordable post is one of the pillars of a civilised (as in functioning correctly people;) society, well on my head anyway ;) Cheers here's to more 'civilisation à la Mussolini's train service :D |
